Climber with a ramp engages the child's visual perception, measuring handgrip strength, body rotation, and crossing the midline of the body, adjusting tone to maintain the desired posture, coordination of arm and leg movements, which is very important, and great also for vestibular stimulation, that is, activation of the sense of balance.
Folding triangle and climbing ramp.
It was developed 100 years ago by Hungarian doctor Emmi Pickler and is very popular in the Montessori program.
It is intended for 6 months to 5 years. For the very young, hanging toys can also be hung on it, so in addition to motor skills, sensory skills are also developed.
Pickler's approach is based on a kind and respectful relationship between an adult and a newborn, through gentle moments of care, the natural pace of motor development, free movement, and uninterrupted play.
Intended: can be introduced at 6 months and can usually be expected to be used by the age of five. Around 6 months of age, babies can use a climbing frame to get out and stop. As they develop, children begin to explore the structure by climbing partly up, then back down (about 1-2 years).
